Stress Free and Affordable, Uncontested Divorce Attorney Services

Even the word “divorce” elicits emotions, tough times brought on by the end of a marriage. It also means distressing thoughts of the potential costs, confusion regarding the process, the time it’s going to take to complete a divorce ‑ basically the fear of the unknown. Most people facing divorce feel like their lives are going to be put on hold while their case slowly makes its way through the court system and their divorce attorneys accumulate sizable fees. That isn’t the case when you hire an uncontested divorce attorney.

How Does Our Firm Handle Uncontested Divorce?

In an uncontested divorce, the parties come to the table with a family law attorney to reach an agreement about how to allocate debts, divide up the marital property, make custody arrangements for minor children, and set spousal and/or child support. It’s an inexpensive and straightforward process that allows the parties to give and take. The attorney will go over the law and process in Washington State, and give you and your spouse the opportunity to end your marriage calmly and with dignity. Even if you don’t know for sure if you are in agreement, sometimes it helps to meet with a lawyer to discuss the issues and find out whether an agreement is possible. Sometimes a little mediation can go a long way.

The Benefits of Hiring An Uncontested Divorce Lawyer

A traditional divorce proceeding can linger on for months, sometimes even years depending on how complicated it is, and can end up being extremely expensive. If you and your spouse can reach an agreement regarding all aspects of your divorce, you can get an uncontested divorce on your own terms and in a fast, professional manner. The reasonable flat fee we offer for uncontested divorce cases provides you with a financial incentive to achieve a fair and amicable resolution to your marriage.

When you hire our firm to handle your family law divorce case, you will benefit from having an experienced no fault divorce lawyer creating and reviewing all necessary documents and avoid the risk of potential procedural errors that are common when people try to do it themselves. Hiring our firm to handle your uncontested dissolution will leave you with the peace of mind, knowing that everything will be handled efficiently and appropriately. I also have trusted contacts, including pension, business and real estate appraisers, as well as counselors and child psychologists that can help ease the emotional stress of children who may be involved.

Representing One Spouse

We can also represent one spouse to handle the drafting of the initial divorce paperwork, in which case if an issue arises that cannot be resolved using an amicable mediation approach, we have the litigation experience necessary to go to trial on your behalf.

Representing the Agreement

If you have children and need some guidance as to the children’s best interests, I have developed a list of trusted and experienced professionals such as child psychologists, behavioural and sensory processing specialists and spiritual counsellors to assist you in supporting your children through the process of divorce.
